My name is Linda Kirkpatrick, and I founded Helping Hand at Home Healthcare in 2017 with a heartfelt determination to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those in need. A year after the inception of our organization, life took an unexpected turn as I was diagnosed with Lymphoma. It was a challenging period, one that reshaped my perspective and transformed the course of my life.

During my illness, something remarkable happened—my daughter was moved by my journey and resolved to become a nurse. In an awe-inspiring display of love and support, she became my first caregiver. It was a time when the bond of family transcended the trials of illness. Through unwavering faith, prayers, and the incredible support of my loved ones, I was blessed with healing. This experience reshaped my purpose and instilled within me a profound empathy for those facing similar battles.

Cancer altered my life, but it also opened my eyes to the unique needs and struggles of the elderly, the sick, the handicapped, and those with disabilities. It ignited within me a special dedication and passion to serve this community. The love and care bestowed upon me by my family and friends during my darkest moments are immeasurable and priceless.

This journey has given me and my dedicated staff a unique opportunity—a chance to extend that love and support to others.
